Articles are short retellings without the details necessary for original, thoughtful understanding.	No articles.
Additional Content 10 pts.	Student is original, creative and thoughtful in making lots of additional content that adds to and supports blog.	Good use of original, creative extras to support blog articles. Mostly surface additions without added thought.	A few additions (pics, flags) that flesh out blog, but do little to add depth to the soldier’s experience.	Extras seem thrown in and do little to support the soldier’s story.	No extras.
Point of View 10 pts.	Student accurately frames all content from national viewpoint.	Most content in blog is from national viewpoint. Some content is bland, from no national viewpoint.	Student frames much of blog from national viewpoint. Some noticeable error(s) in viewpoint.	Student blog shows little evidence of understanding national viewpoint. Much of blog content is not in student’s words.	No point of view.
